swish-e (2.4.7-4build1) broken

I'm running Ubuntu 16.04, and I have swish-e (2.4.7-4build1) installed.

I have this exact error https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=776886 and I can see from changelog (http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/universe/s/swish-e/swish-e_2.4.7-5ubuntu1/changelog) it has also been patched on Ubuntu 18.04.

Can this patch be applied to Ubuntu 16.04 package too? I really need this to work.
