supertux changes screen resolution on shutdown

I recently installed supertux on my edbuntu 11.10 laptop. the game runs fine ,but on shutting it down it changes my screen resolution to something like 600x480 . considering this is not an optional resolution for my pc it is odd.also when the pc is set at the 600x480 the menus are also enlarged so I cannot change the size back to normal . I have to reboot every time.

i suggest you report a bug. You could make a script to run the game then set the res when it closes, as a work around.
