Ubuntu 10.04 VPS "sudo: unable to resolve host ovz.dltx.123systems.net"

Asked by scollum

I just started a VPS and when i type
"sudo apt-get update" using putty the output is
"sudo: unable to resolve host ovz.dltx.123systems.net"
It is not possible to install any programs as sudo or not because the repositories will not update.
I think i should configure /etc/hosts but i do not know what exactly should be set as.
Any help would be appreciated.
