When the Subversion 1.5 will be supported in Ubuntu 8.04 server?

We are very interested in Subversion 1.5 because its new feacture "merge tracing".
But we know that it is not supported in ubuntu 8.04 server.

When it will be supportted?
So that our team can decide whether to compile from the Subversion's source code by hand.

subversion 1.5 is available in the current development version intrepid due for release in october

svn 1.5 has been uploaded to hardy-backports, so once it builds and is mirrored you'll be able to install it through the official Ubuntu repositories if you have backports enabled.
