version >= 5.6.3 in 18.04

Asked by Lars Kuhnt

Hi,

is it possible to update the version for 18.04 from 5.6.2 to >= 5.6.3? The Problem is, that 5.6.2 cannot handle auto=route with virtual IPs and I think that is an essential feature which could help a lot of users out there.

Thanks for your great work
Lars

I assume that there are PPAs with a higher version of strongswan for bionic, see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+ppas?name_filter=strongswan for a list of potential candidates.

Another option is upgrading to a newer Ubuntu release (end of standard support for bionic is in half a year's time).

Can you help with this problem?
