When will the Bug https://wiki.strongswan.org/issues/3249 fixed in 20.04

Hi,
i'm using strongswa with strongswan-pki to generate Certificates.
The Bug https://wiki.strongswan.org/issues/3249 causes invalid CA certificates to be generated by strongswan pki command.
IS there a timeline when or if the bug will be fixed in an ubuntu package release?

I suggest you report a bug and cite your link in the bug. This will get the package updated sooner rather than later. You can start the process with:
