stress ng: giving a specific duration

Asked by mehdi jaiem

Hello all

I want to run the following command with stress-ng:

sudo ./stress-ng --sequential 0 --class io cpu interrupt memory cpu-cache device os scheduler -t 5m --times --tz --perf --yaml Stress1

My problem is that I'm running cyclictest in parallel for 1 hour. Seeing the huge number of stressors used i don't know how much time will it take and I want the system to be stress simultaneously while using cyclictest. the "-t" allows me to run every stressor for a specific amount of time but while using classes in my case I can't know how much stressors are used.

 Any suggestions for that?
