Steam not start

I am using ubuntu 13.04 und when I start Steam, I resive this bug:

/home/aron/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/gio/modules/libdconfsettings.so: undefined symbol: g_mapped_file_get_bytes

However, I found temporaly solution, using the comand STEAM_RUNTIME=0 steam. But if somebody know a final solution I would be beholden

I suggest you report a bug. Steam is still in beta

Hi Aron i did have same error few moments ago, just $ sudo apt-get remove steam, and to $ locate steam and manually remove steam files, start installer again and there should be no problems.

Can you help with this problem?
