Upstream version packaged with precise.

Asked by Francisco José Rodríguez Bogado

How can I know the upstream version of SQLObject installed in precise?

Version in Ubuntu 12.04 is 0.12.4-2. Upstream version is 1.2 or 1.3. There is a bug in Ubuntu's version and I want to know if comes from upstream or not.

Thanks in advance.

If the version is different (in numbers) then I don't know a way to find out the upstream version , but if you want to test the upstream version , you can download the latest version and test it. If works ok , then you can report a bug and point in the upstream version that works , or report that the upstream version has this bug too. Always test the latest upstream version.
