When will sphinxsearch move to 0.9.9?

Hi, I'd like to have the latest sphinx, 0.9.9, as an ubuntu package. The current package is at 0.9.8. Are there plans to release the latest? I could package it myself if the package would be accepted...

You can create a Personal Package Archive but there are already other ubuntu users that have already done,
so please visit the https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sphinxsearch go to bottom of page and list available ppa and plese add the desired one to your source list and install the package
