sparkleshare has stagnated at 0.9 - any plans to update it?

SparkleShare has been sitting at 0.9 for a while, but the site lists 1.3 as the most recent version. Are there any plans to update it? Anything specific blocking the updates? What's going on???

If you report a bug. It may get updated. If there are significant bug and security reasons then the package will be updated
