SoundKonverter

Asked by KKevin901

Starting from U8.04 to U10.04, I have been using SoundKonverter to convert RA audio clips to MP3 format. It was working well.

I upgrade the system to U10.10, the SoundKonverter behaves differently. It does not recognize RA file anymore. The SoundKonverer>settiings>configure SoundKonverter>backends in this U10.10 version does not have the choice to RA format.

Any suggestion on configuration tweaking that I convert RA clips with SoundKonverter?

Thanks

Just install pac and it should install what is needed. Or you can just use pac in cli :)

actionparsnip,

I did have install the pacpl from Synaptic Package Manager . But I cannot find it from Applications>Sound&Video menu list. If it is a pure execution script file without graphic interface, or I need to install a frontend GUI module for this? If so, where can I find it. I am not handy on script handling. Please advise.

Thanks.

It is a command line app as far as I know

pacpl -t mp3 *.rm

for example, or for individual files:

pacpl -t mp3 filename.rm

Easy
