Can't extract CD's into any format

I ahve a fully updated Feisty system that refuses to rip CD's in any format. I have reported it as a bug because I have all the gstreamer plugins available but each time the error says " Could not create gstreamer encoders for Cd Quality. If I select a different format Ie MP3 Or AAC I get the same error??

I have installed everything that is available in synaptic, all with no joy at all!!
