how to play WMA files

I would like to play wma file

Depends. If it is encrypted no.

Try playing it in Totem (The movie player) If it can't, It will help you install codecs to do so.

Or open a terminal window and type " sudo apt-get install w32codecs ".

If it doesn't exist then you don't have a connection to the medibuntu repository where all legally licensed software sits, so go to and read the instructions on installing the repository through the "RepositoryHowTo". Then you'll be able to install "w32codecs".
