Shutdown splash failing to load properly?

Asked by Simen Langvik

I am shutting down Ubuntu 13.04 after an upgrade now to the latest Beta stage. It doesn't load the splash-screen properly. Only the Pricks beneath the "Ubuntu" is appearing, and they are appearing after eachother when they are going "white". Around the pricks, there are a square of the splash showing up, everything else is black, showing some terminal-output.

Instead, shouldn't there be a proper splash, showing "Ubuntu" and the pricks all at once? I've tested this 3 times, and happened all times.
Note: it works fine in the boot, but not when shutting the system down.

Thanks
