Mirrors for South Africa

Asked by JP Meijers

Please see my previous question:

It would be very nice if the other South African mirrors are also present in the System->Admin->Software Sources program. Here I specifically refer to ftp.sun.ac.za and ftp.leg.uct.ac.za. At least one of these are present in the Debian installer.

Both of those mirrors are in the mirror list within Software Sources (at least on 10.04, I would be surprised if they removed them from 10.10).

The list is:
ftp.leg.uct.ac.za
ftp.sun.ac.za
ubuntu.mirror.ac.za
ubuntu.saix.net

These can be found by clicking the drop down menu and Other, then expanding the South Africa entry.
