whenever i try to install an application from software centre ,it shows the following message "the action would require installation of packages from not authenticated sources".when i click on OK it stops installation.please suggest a solution for the same.

I have a similar problem. For me, I can usually install the same desired application with Synaptic (System | Administration | Synaptic Package Manager) without any trouble. It still warns of untrusted software, however it allows override.
