cant use software center

i am trying to get gparted on my computer but when i try to go onto the software center it either doesn't load or it crashes.

Open a Terminal window and use this command:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install gparted

In case you use a supported Ubuntu version it should install the last version of gparted.. If not please share the result of the command:

sudo lsb_release -a

Al the Try running:

gksudo software-center-gtk

Does it run OK?
