Asked by Jonathan Todd

Where is my "home" folder located? There's something that has my name on it, I named something when I got the computer and it shows up. Is that my "home" folder ?

Your home folder is what shows when you open Nautilus and contains folders like "Pictures" "Music" "Templates"

It also contains hidden folders with the configuration for your applications. The home folder is /home/$USER or $HOME
