Driver for printer Brother HL-2240D

Asked by argote83

I recently bought a printer Brother HL-2240D.
And I'm new to Ubuntu too.
How could I install the driver I need? I checked at Brother Solution Center,

http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public_s/id/linux/en/instruction_prn1a.html#rpm2

but when I insert the commands in the terminal, I get this message

leotxo@leotxo-PC:~$ rpm -ihv --nodeps cupswrapperHL2240D-2.0.4-2.i386.rpm
rpm: RPM should not be used directly install RPM packages, use Alien instead!
rpm: However assuming you know what you are doing...
error: la apertura de cupswrapperHL2240D-2.0.4-2.i386.rpm falló: No existe el fichero o el directorio

the last line means "openning cupswrapper.. failed: the file doesn't exit"

I downloaded from Brother's page and saved it in the desktop. I think here is the problem..

Could you navigate me?

Thanks!
