Can you access the Web OK with a browser.
if not open a terminal CTRL+ALT+T and give us the output of
-------
lsb_release; uname -a; ifconfig; cat /etc/network/
-------
If you can access the Web do you connect via proxy server?
If you do have you configured apt to use it ? We can tell you how to.
If its already configured or you don't use a proxy then follow the instructions here:
https:/
except at step 6 post to this link
https:/
Not the one given as the link in the procedure will create a new question instead of providing it in this one.
