serial key already exists

I ordered some software that I paid for and the serial number seems to be assigned to a different email address than mine. When I attempt to activate it, I get this key is already registered to a different email address.

I've tried to get this resolved by the software owner [no joy] and was directed here. Any suggestions would be welcome.

You should report a bug for this , so the developers can see it. This is my suggestion.

Personally , I doubt if someone can reset the registered e-mail address (serial number) , but it is worth to try.
