The Ubuntu Software Center is installed by default. You can find is in the Dash.
If you are unsure, hit the Windows key, wait until the menu comes up and enter "ubuntu" into the search field. This should show the icon below.
If you deleted the software center by accident, run this command in the Terminal:
sudo apt-get install software-center

I got this after using "sudo apt-get install software-center" command in terminal.
everkul@DQM2WS1:~$ sudo apt-get install software-center

I'm wondering, how you got the system into that state?
Did you do anything special before there were problems?

The source server that you have selected http://
This is not an official server, and we do not know anything about the availability of that server and if the software is kept up-to-date. We cannot help if you have problems connecting to that server.
Please switch to an official server and try installing and/or updating again. see https:/
