Creative CF0040 MIDI keyboard

I have inherited a Creative CF0040 computer keyboard, basically a regular keyboard with a 37 piano-like keys incorporated. Are there software and/or driver available in the Ubuntu software centre? I would very much like to be able to make use of the piano-like keyboard to make some music (noises?.) Thank you.
