Ubantu software center doesn't start

When I attempt to start my ubantu software center on my Asus Eee pc Seashell series it will not operate correctly. It starts at the home screen but then closes the window before fully loading. I have tried rebooting the system and reopening the program but get the same results.

What is the output of:

sudo apt-get update; lsb_release -a; uname -a

Try to uninstall and clear up and install again the "software-center" with commands below

Please copy-paste the commands from here , one by one to a terminal (CTRL+ALT+T)

sudo apt-get purge software-center

rm -r .cache/software-center/

rm -r .config/software-center/

sudo apt-get install software-center ubuntu-desktop

sudo update-software-center

and see if problem solved.
