unable to download or update any thing from ubuntu software center

when i try to install any software from Ubuntu software center the following error comes
The action would require the installation of packages from not authenticated sources.

and when i install update from update manger the following error comes

and i am using Ubuntu 10.10

I don´t think it is bug.Maverick is not supported any more.Back up your files and do fresh install of Precise if you want long term support or Quantal if you want latest.
