update wants quantal quetzal 12.10 cd but still waiting for package??

On updates today (79) update manager asked for the cd for 12.10 I had one and put it in drive but when you continue it does not like it and now I'm in a loop where the updates will not run and it opens the ubuntu software centre and then states awaiting package. don't know which package but it certainly does not find it.
Do I now have to zap 12.04 and load 12.10 to overcome this problem or what?

Run Update Manager click on "Settings" a New window opens "Software Sources" In this window select the "Ubuntu Software" tab and uncheck the CD/DVD option from the bottom of the list. Now click close.

It should not ask for the CD again.

This solved the problem but I also had to untick other software where it listed a load of cd's. Now updates have been installed and all well thank you Warren Hill!
