Asked by Stuart

I have recently formatted my pc and run ubuntu 12.1 only.
Trouble is my skygo app needs silverlight for me to be able to watch skysports on my pc.
Is it possible in any way?

You could run a virtualized Windows OS to get it going but I am unsure of performance. You will also need a valid Windows install license and media.

Silverlight will run on windows back to XP so if you have an older version of windows to install that may help. Virtualbox or similar may have an easier time running 32-bit XP or Vista rather than 64-bit Win 7. Depending on your hardware.

You won't get silverlight to run under Wine and there is no Linux equivalent,

The other option if you can't get a virtual Windows to work is to dual boot of course.

Can you help with this problem?
