Ubuntu Software Centre - Defcon app missing authentication key
Hello,
Some time ago I bought 'Defcon' from the Ubuntu Software Centre. The program worked fine previously and gave me many happy hours of world destroying fun.
Recently I rebuilt my PC. I reinstalled Defcon using 'Reinstall Previous Purchases' from the 'File' menu in the Ubuntu Software Centre. When I tried to run Defcon I was asked for an authentication key. Without this key I can only run the game in Demo mode. Now, instead of being able to destroy the whole world, I am limited to destroying only a singe continent. As a would-be crazed megalomaniac, I find this very disappointing.
I am running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on an AMD 64-bit processor.
Please help me to overcome this problem so that I can recontinue my quest for world domination and/or the total destruction of all life on earth.
With thanks,
Brian Mankin

If you run:
sudo apt-get update
Do you get any GPG key messages?

Thanks actionparsnip,
I tried running that but didn't see anything that looks like a GPG key. The output is below.
> sudo apt-get update

Hi all,
Searching through my emails I came across a purchase confirmation message from Introversion with the authentication key in it. I have applied this key and am happily annihilating innocent millions once more.
I have also found a page (*1) on the introversion website which reports that 'In August 2012 we [Introversion] changed the method we use to distribute our games'. The 'contact us' link in the 'I have lost my key' section takes the user to a page (*2) where they can send a message to Introversion requesting a new key.
(*1) > http://
(*2) > http://
I'm fairly sure that when I first installed the game, the licence applied itself but it was some time ago. Perhaps my faulty memory is playing tricks on me. In any case, I'm no longer suffering from any difficulties here.
Thanks to actionparsnip and anyone else who looked at this.
Best regards,
Brian Mankin.
