help trouble on incorrect password input

Hello, I have a problem, I can not download anything from the programmed center unbutu, although the password to be correct, but says incorrect. : (

If you run:

sudo apt-get update

Are the repos online read (lots of text with 'Hit' on the left)?

Try to check the password again . See if Caps Lock works..

When you type passwords in terminal (sudo and the rot recovery console), you will get no feedback but the password is being accepted. Just keep typing and hit ENTER
