Requires installation of untrusted packages- update manager

Asked by quinones

Everytime I try to apply updates this message appears:

Requires installation of untrusted packages

The action would require the installation of packages from unauthenticated sources.

Details:
apport-hooks-medibuntu libavcodec-extra-53 libavutil-extra-51 patch update-notifier update-notifier-common
Could you please tell me what to do?

It looke like you have installed the Medibuntu repositories but not followed the instructions completely.
Open the Terminal an run:
sudo apt-get --yes --quiet --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring

Just want to thank you for your quick reply and for the help. I did as you said and it resolved the problem. I'm new using Ubuntu, still many things to learn and understand, thank you again.
