Same issue, "Lord of Ultimat" is advertised to me in the slideshow at the top of USC, but clicking it gives me the message described in the original question.

My lsb_relase/uname:

jonas:~ lsb_release -a; uname -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Release: 12.04
Codename: precise

http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2012/05/ea-games-arrive-in-the-ubuntu-software-center/

Try the button there, it made me a file:
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/private-ppa.launchpad.net_commercial-ppa-uploaders_lordofultima_ubuntu.list

Which gives access to the app.

Same problem here, the link from OMG Ubuntu doesn't work either

Try:

echo "deb https://private-ppa.launchpad.net/commercial-ppa-uploaders/lordofultima/ubuntu precise main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/private-ppa.launchpad.net_commercial-ppa-uploaders_lordofultima_ubuntu.list > /dev/null

sudo apt-get update

Then in software centre, install the app. You will get taken to a website to login, the app is free. All the app does is take you to a website to play a flash game....

You do know the 'app' you are trying to install will just take you to:
https://www.lordofultima.com

And you willplay the game in your browser using flash.....

actionparsnip, that's not the point. The point is an app is featured in the header, but clicking on it gives you a "Not Found", very bad user experience in my opinion.

After the new update for the software centre the problem has been solved.
