software installation ? and video codecs

i want help about installing softwares . when i open get software folder and wants to install it there comes"Requires installation of untrusted packages"? and also video songs are not playing because video codecs are not being downloaded? please i should be told a solution to this problem

Hi Rashid,

Please run this command in terminal: sudo apt-get -y install ubuntu-restricted-extras

You can acces terminal by pressing CTRL + ALT + T. Then just run program and you will install all your codecs and flash player.
