How to get the install weather applet show on the docky on the left, the default docky on ubuntu 11.10

Ok I installed GLX Dock (Cairo-Dock-with openGL.

Now got to change it from C to F in degrees

For Unity-shell:
sudo apt-get install indicator-weather

All indicators are displayed on the panel right hand side, left side is reserved for launcher and appmenu.

Did you try preferences?

Yes I did.
That is where I changed the location at.

There should be general, units and location.
