cannot install software from software center

I have upgraded ubuntu 11.10 from 11.04 but now I cannot install software from software center as "install" button is not working.

Try this:
1. Open a terminal by hitting CTRL + ALT + T
2. Insert and run this command:
sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade; sudo apt-get dist-upgrade; sudo apt-get --reinstall install software-center

3. Try now.
