I can't upload my digital camera programs that are windows based.

The computer will not load my digital photos and my camera software that are Windows based. It keeps telling me that the CD's are blank. How do I correct this problem. I am new to a Linux based system.

windoze and linux are completely different operating systems. most windoze programs won't run on linux withouth a sledge hammer. there are lots of ditigal camera programs for linux that you can use. shotwell is included with ubuntu.
