1)linux terminal is the terminal shell which comes default with linux.

2)there is a application in ubuntu software centre called TERMINAL(terminal.app) A terminal emulator.

3)TERMINATOR(MULTIPLE TERMINALS IN ONE WINDOW)

4)terminal(vala-terminal)-command line interface.

5)thai x-terminal

6)sakura(use the command line)

7)multi-lingual terminal(use the multi-lingual command line)

8)guake terminal(use the command line in the guake like terminal)

these are the terminal applications i have seen in the ubuntu software centre.i think these are the softwares that runs the os through the command line.

i asked in above question that there is any difference between the usage of commands in these terminals.i have not installed these.i just want to know about this.

Guake is amazing and drops down from the top of the page on a hotkey, great if you use terminal a lot. If you use KDE then yakuake is KDE based, a light version ofr LXDE and XFCE is tilda. The others sound like they use different languages better, they will all essentially use bash as interpretter so will use the same commands.
