want to install vuze

Messages stating no network support, wont let me install software, and cannot download vuze. with the vuze it states i need cairSun Java 1.5.x or newer to run. JRE 1.6 (6.0 series). i dont know how to utilize my download archives at all or what do do ex: open or save?

You should be able to install vuze from the software repositories -- there is no need to attempt to run the version that is on their website.

The vuze version shipped with ubuntu will be adapted to work with your system's version of java.
