connection error on download of an app from ubuntu s/w ctr

I get "connection errors" when attempting to download a "backup app" from ubuntu s/w ctr. Download of new Firefox version worked fine. So, error's source has to be elsewhere, i.e. not my h/w nor w/FFx. Please help.

Just tried a download of an app for viewing images. Its download also failed due to a "connection error". The problem has to be with either the ubuntu s/w ctr or the my s/w used for that purpose.

Problem solved at its source (?), where ever. Tried installing a new app at the U.s/w ctr last night & it worked fine. My Update Mgr did install some updates, although they started out w/the same "error" (?) but I persisted. They dnld'd & installed fine and after that I was able to install the "backup" app I needed from the U.s/w ctr. Thanks very much.
