I want to find an application for web page design that would support layers etc like dreamweaver. Tell me what are my choices.
I need a wysiwyg environment.
I found hard times with kompozer really it getting to my nerves, i want to make a site for someone and he want to be crazy with retro pictures scattered above and below etc etc.
I'm really desperate here.
I google it and get to the conclusion that there is no professional application for that.
Only kompozer can help me in some basic jobs.... thanks god ....but layers?? how i can code layers without actually see the positions etc etc.

I'm afraid to say but linux should have at least a professional web page editor.....

this sounds like a demand. you'll get better response if you make it a question.

@marcus
Come on, dude. The question was not rude at all, and now you've probably delayed it being answered by posting your criticism as an Answer instead of a comment. The question wasn't "I demand a web design application..." or "Give me a web design application... ...!"

@Carnalbeast
You will probably get a better response, though, if you add more information about the layers feature. Either way, you'll probably have to post indicating you are still having a problem in order to get an answer, since marcus aurelius's post made the question's status go from Open to Answered.

Kompozer does have a way to do layers. It seems it's not as easy to use as DreamWeaver. Try Blue Griffon http://bluegriffon.org/.
