Hello,

If you want to install an Antivirus program in Ubuntu use clamav. You can find this in the Ubuntu Software Center or the Synaptic Package Manager.

kaspery was designed to be run on windoze systems. any anti-virus program not specifically written for linux systems will not work. this is because anti-virus programs hook into the operating system by replacing certain codes in the system. linux had completely different codes than windows.

as ahambridge suggested, you can download clamav from the software center. you might want to install clamtk as well. clamtk is the graphical user interface for clamav.

there are other things you need to install.
