Best Fax software for Ubuntu11.04

I have Dell 2400 Dimension computer and would to scan in a document and FAX it

OR

is there another way

eg.

Scan in document then via email SEND it to a FAX line number?

There is no single best software for any situation. There are options, each with it's distinct abilities, strengths and weaknesses. It's as intelligent as asking "What is the best colour?". It's nonsense.

I agree with what you said.

What I was trying to say was, which software would best suit the desktop system and OS I am using.

try efax and/or hylafax google is your friend to search details
