Beep download (paid game!)

Asked by Zieher

Dear Canonical, dear community,

yesterday I bought the new game Beep. After I paid for it, I wanted to install it using the "Install" button in the Ubuntu Software Center. But I always get an error message and that I shall look, if the internet connection is put up. This is the error message:

Failed to fetch https://hidden:<email address hidden>/commercial-ppa-uploaders/beep/ubuntu/pool/main/b/beep-game/beep-game_1.0-0ubuntu3_i386.deb The requested URL returned error: 404

How can it be that the game is not in the repository? I even paid for it!

Of course, I do have the PPA in my repository list.

Best wishes,

Malte.

Hi Malte, thanks for your question (and for your corresponding bug report). As it turns out, the 404 error was due to a problem in the archive itself related to the deployment of an update to Beep. The game update has now been redeployed and the problem should be resolved. Please retry your download and it should work. Of course, let us know if you have any further problems.

Again, sorry for your trouble and thank you for your patience!

Can you help with this problem?
