Uninstalling Softwares

Asked by Ron

I have installed a relatively large software called Zimbra Desktop on my computers. I would like to uninstall it now or remove it completely from my HD. But I have found the following guidelines provided by the software company quite irrelevant to my situation (no response when I key them in the terminal).

http://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/UnInstalling_Zimbra_on_Linux

Is there anyway someone can help me uninstall this software from my computers?

Many thanks in advance,

R

The way I understand the guidelines is that there are twelve (or more) ways to uninstall this software. (Or am I to understand that there are 12 steps in removing this software from my HD?)

In any case, when I key the commands I do not get any response in the terminal. It's a bit strange but nothing happens when I put those commands....

There are twelve steps for uninstalling the software.

If you are unsure if you are doing / have done it correctly, please select all the text in the Terminal (Edit > Select All), copy it to the clipboard (Edit > Copy), and paste it here for examination.

Can you help with this problem?
