Thank you.
Maybe I'm wrong. Let me explain:
I thought that installing the DVD, there I would find a whole suite already, with multi-track audio and MIDI editor, and the same with video, so I didn't have to search for my Audacity etc.
When I was installing the DVD, in one page, there was a question of "what do you want to install", and this page was badly explained, so I think I've missed something; but then, I couldn't return to that page anymore.
So, for the last time, SHOULD I INSTALL MY NEEDED SOFTWARE FROM the page address you sent me?

The DVD simply contains more software on the disk for offline installation of apps. It also usually contains al the desktop environments for offline install too as well as more languages. The DVD does not install any more or any less, by default, than the CD install. It is just useful if you have no web access and want to install more apps than can be offered from the CD. If you need extra apps then simply install them using the software centre.
