CD Ripping Software
Seems to be silly question at first glimpse, since there's already a wiki for it,
https:/
which says, "Sound Juicer is Ubuntu's default CD-ripping application"
However, Sound Juicer doesn't work on Ubuntu maverick 10.10, ref
https:/
And "RubyRipper has been recommended in many forum threads and seems to be one of Linux's best ripping solutions", but it's not available for maverick.
Of all other cd rippers that I tried.
Asunder, freeze half the way.
Grip is no longer supported by its developers, or by Debian or Ubuntu.
Ripper X doesn't do ogg encoding.
ABCDE is CLI, with lots of configuration to make it works. So I'd like to avoid it is possible.
so, what's the CD Ripping Software that you are using for modern Ubuntu?
