A Mail Program that Works

Is the Ubuntu team considering adding a reliable Mail program that actually works all the time...?
I've had problems with Evolution since at least three distros ago.
Now with 11.04 the problems continue. Well at least Novell is consistent!
Unlike Thunderbird which can only handle very minimal mail chores...
Evolution attempts to take on the grander scale. Unfortunately it fails
significantly.
From the past to today...it does not remember passwords (remember?);
it locks up frequently and can not handle contact lists and contact list
editing very well.
If only you guys can find a mail server like Outlook Express...(yes Outlook
despite all its Microsoft connections actually works well).
Please when will we get a reliable heavy duty mail program?

Clombard,

It would be a lot more helpful if you could list your *specific* hassles that you are having with Evolution. That way the teams can figure out which is the most helpful/important to tackle/fix first.

I don't feel my question has an answer and is perhaps rhetorical
at this point since the last time I asked about the Evolution
problems...i.e. not saving account passwords, locking up etc.
I was told to wait until a newer version of Linux (11.04) came out.
Well the same problems exists with 11.04.
Evolution locks up, does not save passwords and is just plain
not reliable. Editing created contact lists is not easy either.
My previous hours of following suggestions and endless tweaking resulted
in a well just wait and see. So please mark my question "answered".
