I'm trying to download Wine from my windows laptop to a flash drive so I can install it on my Ubuntu 10.10 desktop.

Asked by ArcticTunic

I know this problem isn't an ubuntu problem but I was hoping maybe you could help. My desktop doesn't have internet access so I can't download Wine straight to there. Firefox keeps throwing the error below.

Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (apt) isn't associated with any program.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Download it from here. https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-wine/+archive/ppa Note that there may also be dependencies... This may take a few steps.
