Can you give the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | grep flash; dpkg -l | grep gnash; dpkg -l | grep swf

Thanks

i had the same problem at first, cuz i installed it by clicking on the firefox add: Install missing plugins. it's kind of a buggy option,so you should go to adobe site, download the .apt package and install it. to me, it worked like a charm.

Yesterday an automatic upgrade for Adobe flash player came up on the system. I installed it, now it doesn't work. I tried to install it through firefox and I also tried the Adobe site. Nothing works. Any suggestions?
