i have downloaded adobe reader from http://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=BUIGO, it came with a .bin extention; but i can't install it, why?

I have downloaded adobe reader for Linux, English from http://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=BUIGO.

Ver: Adobe Reader 9.4 (43.25 MB)

Extension: .bin

The ubuntu software centre says it is not a software package. How can i install it?

you already have a pdf reader pre installed . software center search adobe
